BAKE.LTD / PRIVACY

Privacy Policy.

Last updated: October 2, 2026

01 / Information you share

If you email info@bake.ltd, support@bake.ltd, or abuse@bake.ltd, your message may include your name, contact details, project requirements, and any files or information you choose to provide. This information is used to respond, prepare quotes, deliver agreed work, and maintain a record of the project or request.

Please avoid sending passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information in an initial inquiry. Access needed for a project will be arranged separately.

02 / Your IP address and location

The visitor bar uses ipapi.is to display your public IP address and an approximate city and country. If that lookup hits its request limit or is unavailable, the server tries ipapi.co using your public IP address. If both lookup services fail, the site uses the IP address and approximate city and country supplied by Cloudflare for the incoming request, when available. The site first sends your public IP address to ipapi.is through a Cloudflare Pages endpoint. This keeps the API key on the server. If the website endpoint itself is unavailable, your browser may request a lookup directly from ipapi.co. The provider receives your IP address and processes it under its own policies.

The displayed location is an estimate based on the network you use. A VPN, proxy, mobile connection, or ISP routing can change it. This feature does not request device GPS access.

The website code does not save this lookup in cookies, local storage, or a bake.ltd database. It displays the result in your browser. If a field cannot be resolved, the bar displays “Unavailable” for that field. Hosting and network providers may keep their own request logs.

03 / Fonts and website hosting

Space Grotesk and Space Mono are hosted directly on bake.ltd. Loading these fonts does not send a request to Google. System fonts are used if the fonts cannot load promptly.

The hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses, timestamps, request paths, and browser information to deliver and secure the website.

04 / Active visitors and cookies

The Visitors indicator estimates how many verified networks were active in the last two minutes. Multiple tabs and browsers on the same public IPv4 address, or the same IPv6 /64 network, count once. People sharing a network may be grouped together. It does not track lifetime visits.

When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile verifies the browser before it enters the count. Turnstile receives technical request information, including the IP address and browser signals, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. A signed, essential session cookie named __Host-bake_presence lasts up to six hours and avoids repeated verification. It is accessible only to the server and is tied to a keyed hash of the network address.

The counter database stores this keyed hash, recent activity timestamps, and temporary rate-limit state. It does not store raw IP addresses. Inactive records are removed on subsequent accepted requests; records blocked for excessive traffic are retained until their ten-minute block expires. Hosting logs and database backups may have separate retention periods. The site does not include advertising or cross-site analytics scripts.

05 / Project information and sharing

Project information is used to communicate, provide services, and resolve support requests. Where agreed work involves hosting, domain registration, or another external service, the information needed for that service may be shared with its provider. Any such setup is discussed as part of the project.

Contact information is not sold. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable obligations or to investigate reported abuse.

06 / Retention and requests

Project correspondence and records are kept while needed to deliver work, provide agreed support, and meet administrative obligations. To ask about information you have shared, request a correction, or request deletion, email info@bake.ltd. Some records may need to be retained where an applicable obligation requires it.

07 / Contact

For privacy questions, contact info@bake.ltd. See the Terms of Service for information about project work.
