Interfaces people can use
Frontend work covers the pages, navigation, forms, and interactions your visitors see. I work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build layouts that adapt to different screens. The focus is on readable content, accessible controls, and predictable behaviour, including useful feedback when an action succeeds or fails.
You can bring an existing design, or combine the build with custom web design. For an existing website, we first identify the issue or feature you want to improve and the constraints of its current code.
02 / THE SCOPE
The logic behind the interface
Backend development can include server endpoints, data handling, and integrations with external services. We discuss which information is required, who can access it, and how the application should respond when a dependency is unavailable. API credentials belong on the server rather than in public browser code.
The technology and hosting approach depend on the project. We agree on the features and deployment environment before implementation, including any third-party accounts, ongoing costs, or access you will need to provide.
03 / THE PROCESS
A clear build and handover
Start with a description of the workflow, the pages or screens involved, and any integrations you already use. I break the work into an agreed scope, share progress, and test the important user journeys before launch. A small feature and a complete application have different requirements, so estimates are prepared individually.
Handover can cover the source files, deployment steps, and instructions needed for the agreed setup. Launch support and ongoing updates can be included. If your main need is a repetitive task rather than a full application, explore automation and custom tools.
